Absolutely. We have a Tourism Accommodation Business License from the municipality. We can offer guidance on short-term vacation rental zoning laws. We can help you apply for a BC Short Term Rental License, and in some cases we can apply on your behalf and obtain one through our business. For VRBO and direct bookings we withhold and remit the local MRDT short term accommodation taxes.

How do you book properties directly in Whistler?

A guest would go to our direct booking page and request their desired dates to stay at one of our properties. They can find our direct booking page through Google and on our www.truenorthproperties.ca. This saves our guests money, adds to our bottom line and payments are securely processed through Stripe.

Can owners use their own units freely?

Absolutely. Our goal is to be flexible and build a working relationship with our clients. For some clients their property is solely an investment and they may stay in it once a year. For others their property is also a weekend home in the winters. We will work with you to accommodate your needs.

How do you screen guests?

Screening guests involves gathering information about their stay, communicating to understand their needs, and verifying their identity and reputation through identification, background checks, and reviews. Requirements such as government-issued ID, credit card verification, and references from previous hosts ensure transparency and security.

How often are payouts handled?

Payouts are completed in the first few days of the new month. You are emailed an owner's statement that breaks down revenue, cleaning costs, management fees and any associated expenses, along with helpful metrics like occupancy rates and ADR (average daily rate).

Garbage/Recycling Located in the parkade to the right. Use common area key to enter. Household waste and recyclables is your responsibility to dispose of and should be placed into the appropriate receptacles in the MAIN underground parking garage. It is against the law to leave ANY food or trash outside because it attracts Bears, even in winter.
Hair Dryers Both bathroom outlets (upstairs and downstairs) are on the same breaker switch, so two hair dryers cannot be used at once or the breaker will trip. Please only use one hair dryer at a time
Ski and Bike Storage In the winter please leave your skis inside of the unit and be careful not to scratch/scuff the walls. Secure bike storage in the parking garage, use the garage key to enter bike storage. We recommend locking and are not responsible for stolen equipment
Parking + Common Area/Garage Key First come first served parking. There is a 200$ fee associated if you lose this common area key.
Communal Hot Tub, Pool and Sauna is in the centre of the complex next to the admin building/parking. Use common area key to access
Fire Place The on switch for the gas fireplace is a thermostat and is located above the television. There is also a thermostat located near front door by the kitchen. The Fireplace is the best heating source for living area. There are 2 separate thermostats located in each bedroom.
BBQ Make yourself at home with the BBQ! Please scrub the grill after use and ensure the propane is turned off
House Rules: No smoking or vaping in the home, on the patio or anywhere within the complex. No skis or bikes permitted in the Condo. No parties. No pets
Noise Restrictions: from 11PM to 8AM
Please remove shoes/ski boots when entering the home
If something has been accidentally damaged, stained, or broken you may be covered. All you need to do is report it to us.

Check-out time is 10:00AM - Before departure please start the dishwasher. Take the garbage and recycling to parking garage garbage.
It is greatly appreciated if you can start the load of laundry for our cleaners. They do al laundry on site and it really helps them out, it is not required simply appreciated

The 1st photo is the main lane way into unloading zone and underground parking. The 2nd photo is where you insert the common area key to open garage door (about halfway down laneway). The 3rd photo is the 15 minute unloading zone (additional 15 minute zone on street if thats full) The units is directly up those stairs and 20 meters straight ahead. The 4th photo is of additional underground parking that is towards the racket club on Northlands Blvd
