For VRBO and direct bookings we withhold and remit the local MRDT short term accommodation taxes.

How do you book properties directly in Whistler?

A guest would go to our direct booking page and request their desired dates to stay at one of our properties. They can find our direct booking page through Google and on our www.truenorthproperties.ca. This saves our guests money, adds to our bottom line and payments are securely processed through Stripe.

Can owners use their own units freely?

Absolutely. Our goal is to be flexible and build a working relationship with our clients. For some clients their property is solely an investment and they may stay in it once a year. For others their property is also a weekend home in the winters. We will work with you to accommodate your needs.

How do you screen guests?

Screening guests involves gathering information about their stay, communicating to understand their needs, and verifying their identity and reputation through identification, background checks, and reviews. Requirements such as government-issued ID, credit card verification, and references from previous hosts ensure transparency and security.

How often are payouts handled?

Payouts are completed in the first few days of the new month. You are emailed an owner's statement that breaks down revenue, cleaning costs, management fees and any associated expenses, along with helpful metrics like occupancy rates and ADR (average daily rate).

Ski & Bike Storage: Secure ski/bike storage located to the left of the initial lobby, accessible with common area code.
Ski Locks: We supply 2 ski keys and one combination snowboard lock. The keys work for any green ski lock labeled LP304. The code for the combo lock is 9 - 6 - 3.
Pool & Hot Tub & Sauna: Located in the courtyard, accessible with common area code. Summer hours 10 AM -10 PM, Winter hours 1 PM - 10 PM
Lobby Area: Plenty of board games!
BBQ: Communal BBQ in the courtyard with sheet to sign up for time slots
Parking: Access the parkade with your common area code. Parking is first come first serve in any stall. Please fill out one of the the parking forms in the unit and place it upon your dash
House Rules: No smoking or vaping in the home, on the patio or anywhere within the complex. No skis or bikes permitted in the Condo. No parties. No pets
Quiet time: from 10:00PM to 8:00AM
Plastic cups are to be used when taking beverages to the pool/hot tub
Please remove shoes/ski boots when entering the home
If something has been accidentally damaged, stained, or broken you may be covered. All you need to do is report it to us.

Check-out time is 10:00AM - Before departure please start the dishwasher. Take the garbage and recycling downstairs to parking garage garbage rooms and please close and lock all windows and doors. Please return ski locks.
It is a huge help to our cleaning staff if you start a load of laundry, not necessary - but a huge help and is appreciated!

The 3rd photo is off the entrance to the parking garage, it is on Lake Placid Road, use your common code key to enter the parking garage, park anywhere you like but be sure to fill out your parking pass form and put it on your dash.
