Absolutely. We have a Tourism Accommodation Business License from the municipality. We can offer guidance on short-term vacation rental zoning laws. We can help you apply for a BC Short Term Rental License, and in some cases we can apply on your behalf and obtain one through our business. For VRBO and direct bookings we withhold and remit the local MRDT short term accommodation taxes.

How do you book properties directly in Whistler?

A guest would go to our direct booking page and request their desired dates to stay at one of our properties. They can find our direct booking page through Google and on our www.truenorthproperties.ca. This saves our guests money, adds to our bottom line and payments are securely processed through Stripe.

Can owners use their own units freely?

Absolutely. Our goal is to be flexible and build a working relationship with our clients. For some clients their property is solely an investment and they may stay in it once a year. For others their property is also a weekend home in the winters. We will work with you to accommodate your needs.

How do you screen guests?

Screening guests involves gathering information about their stay, communicating to understand their needs, and verifying their identity and reputation through identification, background checks, and reviews. Requirements such as government-issued ID, credit card verification, and references from previous hosts ensure transparency and security.

How often are payouts handled?

Payouts are completed in the first few days of the new month. You are emailed an owner's statement that breaks down revenue, cleaning costs, management fees and any associated expenses, along with helpful metrics like occupancy rates and ADR (average daily rate).

Fireplace: We just installed a new fireplace! The switch is on the left of the mantle near the window. The fireplace takes 1-2 minutes to light after the switch is flipped.
Ski Storage: Ski directly to back porch of unit, leave skis on porch (conditions permitting), or obtain ski locker & code from front desk
Bike Storage Secure bike storage on p2
Parking The front desk will provide you with a parking pass. Parking is first come first serve in the parkade.
House Rules: No smoking or vaping in the home, on the patio or anywhere within the complex. No skis or bikes permitted in the Condo. No parties. No pets
BEDROOM TV (CHROMECAST) Download the google home app and chrome cast to the device that is in the bedroom TV. You can stream Netflix youtube and all of your streaming apps. Roku Streaming device and cable is available in living room
LIVING ROOOM TV (AMAZON FIRE STICK) Simply log in to your streaming services and enjoy!
BBQ We have a brand new portable BBQ that sits underneath the new benches outside. There is a foldable table that is tucked in beside the same bench. If you wish to BBQ please use foldable table. There are propane canisters on the patio too. Please clean and scrub the grill with the grill brush after each use!
Quiet time: from 10:00PM to 8:00AM
Plastic cups are to be used when taking beverages to the pool/hot tub
Please remove shoes/ski boots when entering the home
If something has been accidentally damaged, stained, or broken you may be covered. All you need to do is report it to us.
Additional Fees: Noise complaint: 105$ (a complaint from a neighbour that results in security being dispatched to room to deliver complaint)
Damage to Garburator: 100$

Check-out time is 10:00AM - Before departure please start the dishwasher. Take the garbage and recycling downstairs to parking garage garbage rooms and please close and lock all windows and doors. It is not recquired, but it is a HUGE HELP if you can start a load of laundry before you check out. Some days our cleanes have to flip 4 - 5 properties and it really helps them.
