Airbnb Management in Whistler

Your Whistler condo can earn well on Airbnb, but only if the listing ranks, the reviews stay near perfect, and someone is on call for every guest. True North manages Airbnb rentals for Whistler owners who want the income without the second job.

Why Whistler Owners Hand Off Their Airbnb

Running an Airbnb in a ski town is harder than it looks. Guests message at all hours, turnovers stack up on Saturdays in peak season, and a single 4-star review can push your listing down in search. Most owners we talk to either live outside Whistler or have a full-time job, and self-managing starts to cost more in time and stress than it earns.

What Our Airbnb Management Covers

  • Listing optimization: professional photos, a title and description written to rank in Airbnb search, and amenities set up correctly so guests can filter to you

  • Pricing: nightly rates adjusted daily for powder days, holidays, Crankworx and other Whistler events, with minimum stays tuned to each season

  • Guest messaging: fast replies around the clock, clear check-in instructions, and local recommendations that earn 5-star reviews

  • Review management: we watch every review, respond professionally, and fix whatever guests flag before the next stay

  • Cleaning and turnovers: hotel-standard cleaning and linen after every checkout, even on the busiest weekends

  • Damage protection: we document your property and handle any claims through Airbnb's AirCover program

More Than Airbnb

Relying on Airbnb alone leaves you exposed to fee changes, algorithm shifts and quiet weeks. We also list your property on Vrbo, Google Vacation Rentals and on our own direct booking site, where guests pay less and you avoid platform commissions. One calendar, synced across every channel, with no double bookings.

Licensing for Whistler Airbnb Rentals

Airbnb rentals in Whistler need a Tourism Accommodation Business License from the municipality and provincial short-term rental registration from BC, and listings without valid registration risk being removed. We hold municipal licensing for each property we manage and can help you with your provincial registration, and in some cases apply on your behalf.

The building matters too. Not every Whistler strata allows nightly rentals. We manage Airbnb units in buildings including The Aspens, Glacier's Reach, Woodrun Lodge and Nicklaus North, and can tell you quickly whether your property qualifies.

What It Costs

Our management fee is 17 to 20% of rental revenue, below the 20 to 35% common in Whistler. See exactly what our fees include, or read about our return to Whistler property management services.
