Garbage/Recycling: Located in the parkade to the right of the elevator. Follow the blue line past the automatic gate to the recycling and garbage room

Ski Locker —> Code - 33 19 33 —> Labelled 402. Turn RIGHT 3 times. Stop at the 1st number. Turn LEFT one full turn passing 1st number, stop at 2nd number. Turn RIGHT, stop at 3rd number and pull the shackle. Please store skis/poles in the locker.

Bike Storage Key card access room next to eagle lodge parking. Bring your own lock, we are not responsible for stolen items.

Parking Stall 55 (reserved for 402) Enjoy free parking in stall 55. If you have an additional vehicle, please park in any of the red guest parking spaces and be sure to let the front desk know.

Coffee We supply ground coffee for the drip coffee maker. If you wish to use the Keurig machine please PURCHASE AND SUPPLY YOUR OWN KEURIG PODS.
Pool & Hot Tub & Sauna: The shared hot tub and fitness room are located inside the Eagle Lodge on the main floor. You will require your key card to access the facilities. Operational hours are 10am-10pm. For guests staying in the Deer or Bear Lodge, access is via a door in the walkway between Bailey Nelson and Canadian Wilderness Adventures. Please take towels from your suite and ensure they are returned to the room. There are bathroom/change room facilities within the hot tub common area.

Laundry: Washer/dryer in unit! We supply detergent!

Under-bed Storage Totes Since there is no lock up in the unit we store some items like bedding, towels and restock supplies like (olive oil, balsamic etc) under the bed in plastic totes. Please leave towels in there and do not help yourself to extra towels or else the cleaners will not be able to complete the clean in one load of laundry and it messes their day up! Thanks for being understanding

House Rules: No smoking or vaping in the home, on the patio or anywhere within the complex. No skis or bikes permitted in the Condo. No parties. No pets

Quiet time: from 10:00PM to 8:00AM

Plastic cups are to be used when taking beverages to the pool/hot tub

Please remove shoes/ski boots when entering the home

If something has been accidentally damaged, stained, or broken you may be covered. All you need to do is report it to us.

Concierge - 604 966 - 0999 Whistler Reception Services operates the front desk at the Town Plaza Suites. They are your onsite concierge who will assist you with checking in/out, provide access to the property and other services you may require (some at a fee).

Check-out time is 10:00AM - Before departure please start the dishwasher. Take the garbage and recycling downstairs to parking garage garbage rooms.

It is greatly appreciated if you can start the load of laundry for our cleaners. They do al laundry on site and it really helps them out, it is not required simply appreciated

Here are some suggestions for skiing Whistler Blackcomb. Ranging from where to ski, what lifts to take and when and what mountain to go to!

DISCLAIMER - These are simply suggestions, from a local. Ski and ride within your own capabilities. I am not to be held responsible for injuries or decisions made based on this guide. These are suggestions only! Ride and ski with care folks!

In general I usually recommend skiing Blackcomb. It has steeper terrain, is less busy than Whistler and usually they get their lifts open quicker. Whistler has much more avalanche terrain to mitigate danger from, so it takes them longer to open on pow days.

Order of lift openings on Blackcomb (usually) BlacGcomb Gondola → Catskinner (open right away) → Jersey Cream → Crystal Ridge → Glacier and 7th Usually open at the same time.

If you are up early on pow day just lap Catskinner 2-3 times then wait for them to drop the rope and go ski Jersey → Lap Jersey a few times then venture over to Crystal if it isn't too windy and the lift is spinning → A few Crystal laps then head over the Glacier. 7th is great but it is far to get to from Crystal

Order of lift openings on Whistler (usually) Gondola → red and green chair → Harmony sometimes cracks before peak, usually at the same time. Lap red or green chair until the alpine opens or go wait in line at Peak or Harmony on a pow day

Scenario 1: 25+ CM pow day

Everyone and their mother will be out today. Get to the lift before 715AM and be prepared to wait an hour for them to open it. Some folks get in line at 630AM. Go with your crew, lock down your spot in line - send a few soldiers out for coffees and to use the bathroom before the lift opens.

It will take them a while to get the alpine open so be ready to ski lower mountain lifts until the high ones open. If you get up late, ski right over to Crystal or Glacier and catch it opening and can still have a sick day.

Scenario 2: 8 - 12 CM fresh snow overnight

These are my favourite days. Everything opens quick, the resort is skiing well Go shred wherever!

Scenario 3: Storm Skiing (Windy, snowing hard, high freezing level)

Ski Blackcomb over Whistler → Crystal might open, jersey should be open. If these lifts are not open it means it’s very stormy and probably bad conditions. Crystal is great because the trees offer perspective and you can see stuff.

Scenario 4: Blue Bird

7th Heaven is beautiful, it will be busy though. Ski the alpine anywhere its very pretty

Ultimate Move:

Is to ski pow on Blackcomb all morning, then head over to Whistler at 1230PM and right as you get off the Peak to Peak gondola they open Peak Chair. You then ski to Peak Chair (wait in a long line, it moves quick - or you sneak in with people, respectfully) and shred a few peak laps and call it a day. The ultimate move.

Whistler Valley MTN Bike Suggestions

Here are some suggestions for the fantastic mountain bike trail network that exists in the Whistler Valley. These suggestions are more for trail riding. My knowledge of Whistler Bike Park is limited. My best suggestion for bike park would be to ask some folks for suggestions on where to ride, everyone is friendly!

Lost Lake (Beginner/intermediate)

Lost lake has an extensive trail network for beginners and intermediate riders (It is where I learned!). You can ride the green trails if you are a beginner. Try some blue trails if you are intermediate or if you want to challenge yourself as a beginner!

Cheakamus Loops (intermediate/advanced)

Flashback (intermediate) → climb Cheakamus forest service road (FSR) to See Colours and Puke ascent trail and its on your left → You can see the trail to the left the whole way up the FSR

High Side → After Hours → AM/PM (advanced) → This loop is friggin awesome I ride it all the time → Same climb as Flashback up the Chek FSR, the last punch up See Colours and Puke is steep but worth it → High side (awesome track that has two stages) → After high side pedal uphill to the right along High Line - takes you to another FSR - go left and there is After Hours → AM/PM is 50M along the same FSR after your ride After Hours

Blackcomb Access Road (advanced). Classic Whistler technical steep terrain off Blackcomb Access Road. Many loops and rides to choose from

Golden Boner → Roam in the Loam → Instant Grat → Staff Hill (advanced)

Very fun - I ride this all the time too. Ride the first bit of the ascent trail that starts right beside Blackcomb Gondola. Then link up with the Blackcomb access road take a right at the orange gate (very steep ascent, get your lungs ready!) → If you get to the ski run clearing you have passed golden boner, it is right behind you! Golden Boner feeds right into Roam in the Loam, just pedal up 20M and its there off the FSR on your right → After Roam in the Loam, pedal up the blackcomb FSR again (3 minutes) Instant Grat drops in right at the orange gate (such a fun quick trail).

After Instant Grat pedal towards Spearhead Drive and pedal to the top of Spearhead Drive (blackcomb springs suites is the condo complex at the top of spearhead) → head down the path towards the ski run, cross the ski run and pedal over the Base II ski lodge/Magic chair. Staff Hill trail starts right underneath the Magic Chair - there is a drop at the top (inspect it!) or you can ride around it and rip the berms.

Microclimate (advanced) → Big climb → Continue past golden boner, up the blackcomb access road, onto Out of The Dust climbing track, then a final punch up past the Accelerator Ski Lift and the trail starts right off the ski run

Dark Crystal (advanced - huge climb!) → Bring water and snacks, this is a big climb → Continue past microclimate up the ski run. The trail starts right at the Crystal Ski Lift, can’t miss it

Alpine Neighbourhood Trailhead

Howler (advanced) → This is a whistler technical classic with some good viewpoints! → Steep, very rocky in some sections (bring a spare tube!!!) → Drive or bike all the way up Alpine Way (paved street) and start climbing ricks roost/cultured climb → Continue up, pass the bridge and make sure you pedal up the final punchy bit so you ride howler from the top (hike a bike unless you are insanely fit)

Cat Scratch Fever - LEFT (advanced) → Same way towards howler accept its ⅓ of the way up, quick and fun lap (there is a new drop on the second half of the trail that is fun)

Lord of The Squirrels (mega day 5+hours) → Bring snacks, tools, tubes and be prepared for this epic journey into the Alpine. A mega day with breathtaking views and awesome riding. Bear spray is wise. → Access Into the Mystic Climb Trail from the Flank Trail and sesh it all the way to the top of Lord of The Squirrels

Squamish

Alice Lake Epic Loop → Rupert/Leave of Absence → Mickey’s Magic → Man Boobs → Pomplemousse

It is really hard to explain this, and I used to always get lost. Just bring trail forks and trust me, ask people where to go. This loop is sick

Half Nelson - must ride → Drive up the Mamquam FSR and past the first few areas to park and park up the FSR → Climb the trail and make sure you ride it from the very top, don’t go in where it initially says to. Climb an extra 5 minutes worth it
