Provisions - Village. New spot! great sandwiches and coffees

Lift Coffee Co - Village. Quick coffee and breakfast option in the Main

Southside Diner - Creekside. A true sit down diner breakfast, usually quite busy

The Den (Nita Lake) - Creekside. Nice sit down breakfast. Optional buffet. Pricier than South Side.

Table Nineteen - Nicklaus North. Summer only! - Nicest patio in Whistler (winter opens at 3PM)

Alpine Cafe - Alpine. True local charm to this place.

Portobellos - Upper Village. The sandwiches are incredible - along with everything on the menu. Takeout chicken + ribs is good value

Provisions - Village. New spot! Great Sandwiches

Hunter Gather - Village. Great food - awesome local beers on tap

Ohyama Ramen - Village. Awesome ramen spot near the conference centre

La Cantina - Village. Authentic Mexican Tacos and Burritos, two locations (village and nesters).

HandleBar - Upper Village. Hands down best pizza I have ever had in my life. Sorry NYC.

Fat Tony’s Pizza - Village. Sesame seed crust is nice

Chubby Ducks - Village. Nice kabab/shawarma style wraps and poutines

The Naked Sprout Cafe Village. Super healthy, most of the menu items are vegan

Splitz Grill - Village. Great burgers.

Peaked Pies - Village. Traditional Aussie meat pies

For some people, the most important part of the Whistler trip. For others, the second most important part (1st is skiing obviously!)

Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub - Village. #1 Aprés spot in my books, Live music and the Guinness flows!

RMU - Upper Village. #1 Aprés spot in Upper Village, they sell beer, food, skis, apparel, backpacks etc. good local spot

Handle Bar - Upper Village. If you were unable to get a table at RMU, saddle up here for a pint and the best pizza of your life (sorry NYC)

Garibaldi Lift Co (GLC) - Village. Good Aprés spot located right at the base of Whistler, pricey but sick vibe.

Tapley’s Neighbourhood Pub - Village. Relaxed spot for an Aprés, sports on all TVs

Longhorn - Village. Come here ready to party, it is essentially a club, expensive, very high energy. At the base of the mountain, can’t miss it.

Merlins - Upper Village. Relaxed and Aprés, lots of tables, it used to get wild here now it is mostly an older crowd but still turns up every now and then.

Fitzsimmons Pub - Upper Village. The most chill and cosy pub in Whistler.

Pizza Antico - Village. Good Happy Hour - 4$ Pints, 8$ Margherita Pizzas - 3PM - 5PM

Crystal Lounge - Village. Cheap wings, basement bar - not very inspiring - cheap wings though

Table Nineteen - Nicklaus North. (Summer only! - Nicest patio in Whistler) Opens at 3pm in Winter

Coast Mountain Brewing - Function Junction. 10 Mins south of Village, 5 mins south of Creekside, Whistler’s best brewery

Whistler Brewing Company - Function Junction. Go to Coast Mountain first, then come here if you want to continue the tour. 2nd best brewery in Whistler (with all due respect)

Beer Farmers - Pemberton. Drive to Pemberton for the afternoon, incredibly charming brewery on a farm! Worth it!

High Mountain Brewing Co - Village. The only brewery that is actually in the village. They have decent beer, they have a pool table and the pizza is good

Fine Dinning - Reserve as soon as you know that you want to go!

Rimrock Café - Creekside. #1 Fine dining restaurant in Whistler.

Wild Blue - Village. Very nice Pacific North West inspired menu great ambience. Like, realllllly nice vibe in here.

Araxi - Village. Farm-to-table, legendary oyster bar, big wine list

Il Caminetto - Village. Refined itallian, probably the best date spot. It is sort of sexy and dimly lit.

Barefoot Bistro - Village. Tasting menus, vodka ice room, mid vibe in there.

Sushi Village - Village. Not really fine dinning, but this place is a Whistler institution. Order the secret menu item ‘Nicole Roll” and Sake Marg. Reservations for 6+ groups.

Red Door Bistro - Creekside. Tiny, intimate restaurant. Set menu, hard to get into. Worth it.

The level just below fine dinning. Still book ahead when you can, especially on weekends.

Nagomi Sushi - Upper Village. Smaller, more relaxed sushi experience, excellent quality - Upper Village

The Keg - Village. Casual fine dinning. Reliable. They never miss.

Tandoori Grill - Village. Really good Indian food. Big room. Good for groups.

Balam - Village. New Latin American theme restaurant. Really cool decor. Patio is great people watching.

Pizza Antico - Village. Awesome pizza in the village

Creek Bread - Creekside. This place used to be the go to. They would source as many ingredients as they could from Pemberton. Great pizza’s were the result. Then about 2 years ago, Nita Lake bought this reasturant and immediately started ordering all ingredients from wholesalers in the city that surely supply their hotel. The result, in my opinion was a drop in quality. Also, they can be a bit rude at the door. A bit of a fall from grace with this one.

Splitz - Village Casual burger joint, order, take a number and sit down

Hunter Gather - Village. Great beers on tap and really good food, great value

The Beacon - Village. Casual bar restaurant, great patio for people watching

Portobellos - Upper Village. Take out chicken dinner for 4 people is great value, ps - add ribs!

Earls - Village. Casual but good. bar/lounge

Now. It has been a long time since I have graced most of these venues. I’ve grown a bit older, and I tend not to burn the midnight oil like I used to. So, buyer beware, some of this intel might be a bit dated. All of these spots are in the village.

Garfinkles Legendary Whistler Club - Busiest on Thursdays

Dubh Linn Gate Gets very lit with live music and the Guinness tap runs constantly. This is one of the spots I still go to.

Aprés Aprés A good place to go if everywhere is packed, big dance floor

Tapley’s Good bar/pub that gets busy, sports on the TVs

Buffalo Bills 2 pool tables, big dance floor - used to be an older crowd here 25/30+ (though I have heard that this is the new spot with more of a hip crowd)

Moe Joes regular club, low ceilings, usually pretty heavy techno/electronic music

Brandy’s at the Keg open late and not underground like the other clubs, TV’s everywhere

Maxx Fish This club was dormant for 5 years and has since come back. It’s honestly pretty sweet. The lead bartender Connor Palahicky is a legend.
